Irina’s armwrestling career started at the age of 15. Her ability was noticed by her physical education teacher during a school competition. Her teacher was extremely impressed with how physically strong and athletically-gifted Irina was and arranged for her to start training professionally with a coach. In training, Irina’s ability and technique improved extremely quickly and after only 4 months, she entered into and won the World Championships in Slovakia. From there her career soared instantly and she is now recognized as one of the most dominant middleweight women on the world stage. Irina has been crowned World Champion 13 times and has no plans of slowing down.
 
Irina plans to stay at the top and to keep enjoying the success that results from hard work.
