WAL Launches Monster Supercross Series Partnership

January 20th 2016

The tension, intensity and excitement of a top-level arm-wrestling match are hard to top. But this month, the World Armwrestling League has found a way to ramp-up the action: add motorbikes.

Opening the gates on a massive new partnership, WAL has teamed with Monster Energy Supercross in an unprecedented unification of two of America’s hottest sports.

WAL arm-wrestlers will be throwing down against the backdrop of high-flying Supercross racing across the country in the coming months, appearing at events from San Diego to Atlanta and exposing a huge new fan base to the sport of WAL arm-wrestling.

Viewers by the thousands will encounter WAL and its athletes as the main attraction of the pre-race Pit Party for Monster Energy Supercross. On display will be the grit, technique and intensity of the sport where the public can compete for prizes and test their grit against the pros.

“The WAL’s brand of professional arm-wrestling and the Monster Energy Supercross are a great combination,” WAL Operations Director Ben Murray said. “Two sports on the cutting edge that both require intense levels of grit, tactics and dedication will now go side-by-side at events across America.”

While the Pit Party events will provide a huge stage for the WAL’s best, it will also offer amateurs a chance to put their elbow down on a WAL table and grip up for a match.
Tutorials and “King of the Table” amateur competitions will be held, as well as super matches featuring local arm-wrestling legends.

Fans will get a chance to meet their favorite pullers and get tips from the best.

WAL will be front and center for the Pit Party from noon to 6 p.m. at the following events:
