About Quinlan Mendez
Quinlan Mendez chanced upon an armwrestling tournament while walking through a park at the age of 14, Instantly obsessed, he began seeking out every tournament he could find online. Now, the Ohio native can’t stop. His job building tires for some of the world’s largest machines keeps his body in prime pulling shape.
Watching the big dogs at each tournament formed a hit list of sorts for Mendez, and he continues to seek out the best and toughest pullers he can. For Mendez, pulling is a sport that gives as much as you put into it. “You don’t have to be super-athletic,” he says. “There’s taller, skinnier, lankier individuals out there. Anybody can do it.”
