YEARS COMPETING IN THE SPORT: Pulled back in 1987 for a few years, this time since 2014.
FAMILY: Married to a great wife, Diane, and two wonderful children Peter Jr. and Megan Ann.x
HOBBIES: Lifting weights with his wife and armwrestling training with Reza and Team Vegas.
FAVORITE TRAINING TECHNIQUE: Table time
TITLES: WAL 50 States Nevada Right Hand Champion
EMPLOYMENT: "Division Manager with American Financial Network, a GREAT Mortgage Bank."
INTERESTING FACT OR EXPERIENCE THAT HELPED SHAPE LIFE: "In 2000 my family was involved in a car accident where my wife suffered a broken neck. After some great work by doctors and hard work on her part, Diane made a good recovery. Her struggle is ongoing, she can predict rain better than any weatherman. If she can get up everyday and go to work and fight the good fight, how can I complain about arm pain, going to the gym or training? Back in 1987, I did not train hard or take this sport very seriously and now I am 51 and do not have the athletic ability of my former self. But what I do have is a great support staff, my GREAT wife Diane, my awesome children who you can hear screaming for me like it is life and death at the table and my dear friend and trainer Reza Dilmaghanian and the rest of Team Vegas. Reza and the boys push me hard and work around my work schedule and are just tremendous friends and training partners, I am blessed to have them!"
UNIQUE FACT: "What I feel that is important to know, not only about me, but a great deal of armwrestlers, we are all not mindless brutes. We are people from all walks of life. I am a Banker, I have met Doctors, Lawyers and all sorts of business
professionals in my career. We all need to help bring our great sport to mainstream."
MOTTO: Never give up, Don’t quit!
BIGGEST ARMWRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENT: As a World Runner-up in 1987 and National Champion in 2014, he believes that competing at a high level so many years apart shows something.
FAVORITE ARMWRESTLING MEMORY: "I have many great memories armwrestling, they are not from victories, but from the comradery of working toward a common goal. I have made some lifelong friends through armwrestling, Val Mykarlo and Mike Mignogna along with their families in my first career in armwrestling and now Reza and Team Vegas this time around, we ever have some friends from other countries!"
BEST ADVICE RECEIVED:  Train hard, the match is not won at the table, but it is won in the training.
BIGGEST OBSTACLE FACED AND OVERCAME: Finding time to train with a very difficult work schedule, he claims he cannot take credit for overcoming this obstacle. According to Mills, "My trainer Reza, and Team Vegas will always wait for me and my wife, Diane keeps the supper warm for me."
