BIGGEST ARM-WRESTLING ACCOMPLISHMENT: "Taking a loss early in a competition, and having to work my way through 7 matches just to get to the finals, and then defeating the guy that beat me originally, twice in a row, for first place."
FAVORITE ARM-WRESTLING MEMORY: "Vegas was fun, but I would have to break a vow of silence to tell that story...."
BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: "Go into every Match confident, but not with the anticipation that you’re always going to win. You learn more from losses then you do by winning."
BIGGEST OBSTACLE FACED AND OVERCAME: "Around June 2013, I was in a head-on collision and nearly thrown from a vehicle. The only thing that saved me was my right arm, but my shoulder took all the force, and need to be surgically repaired and reconstructed. Doctors told me that heavy lifting may not be possible for the future, but I, myself being stubborn, did not want or believe that was true. So after a year of healing and waiting, I decided to prove to myself I am not being held back by anything. So, with the help of a very special lady in my life, I was able to not only get stronger than I ever was in the past, but lost 80 lbs in the process as well. This experience made me open up my eyes, and realize that you can always defy the odds, but it takes faith and dedication to make them come true."
