UNIQUE FACT: “I teach neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and CPR. As a NICU nurse, my everyday life is often filled with emergency situations. I have had to learn to be the calm in the middle of the storm. Little, stupid things that once bothered me just don’t anymore. People tend to underestimate me because of the way I look. I don’t mind. I like to see the look on their face when they realize how wrong they were.”
MOTTO: “Try and stop me.”
FAVORITE ARMWRESTLING MEMORY: “When I went to my first ever armwrestling practice with the East Newark Bullys. I was the only woman, but my new teammates all shook my hand and made me feel welcome. As the old saying goes, friends are the family we choose for ourselves. Sorry, guys, you’re stuck with me.”
