INTERESTING FACT OR EXPERIENCE THAT HELPED SHAPE LIFE: "In February of 2000, I was blessed with the gift of sobriety. Yes it is personal, however without that gift I would never be where I am both professionally and personally. Thanks to being sober I was able to establish a very credible position in the decking industry. I was willing to get my hands dirty and learn everything I could to help establish solid relationships with local lumber yards and builders. Being a woman in the building industry warranted me learning as much as I could about decking. This enabled me to become a resource for customers whenever they had questions. In addition personally I needed to put my energies somewhere so I got into bodybuilding in 2004. What I realized is going to the gym pushing weights was the easiest part. It was the four month diet that was challenging. I put my best foot forward until I had an injury in 2010. To date I still love the sport. I still am passionate about following current bodybuilders. I was looking for a new sport and fell in love with armwrestling. There have been great supportive friends that have helped shape my journey thus far. I look forward to my continued armwrestling path."
UNIQUE FACT: "I am really not unique; the only attribute that I can offer is that once I jump into something like armwrestling or bodybuilding or decking, I become extremely passionate and never give up trying or learning."
MOTTO: "Let go and let God."

BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: "If you are not making mistakes, you are not trying."
BIGGEST OBSTACLE FACED AND OVERCAME: "One of the biggest obstacles other than the above mentioned is that I suffer from essential tremors. It is difficult to get my hands to hold still. People always assume I am nervous. I am always trying to overcome it especially when I meet people for the first time. Friends that know me have gotten used to it and don’t even see it anymore. I am far from overcoming it. I just keep it in perspective. There are people suffering from far worse ailments so if this is my challenge so be it. I deal with it and just keep moving forward."
